From time to time I pause and reflect on my past. Not something uncommon for most. We all do from time to time. It’s that moment when you allow yourself to pull up your anchor and let the ship sail off onto the waters of the past. A vast ocean filled with waves. Some that roll about smoothly and others that crash into you with power and vengeance. The proverbial closet that’s filled with skeletons, demons and dirt. We all have them. The people that float into our lives. The friendships, hardships, loveships and hateships. If we allow ourselves to truly live we dive into the waves. We cut loose and let them take us freely. We swim, sink and float thru with calmness, serenity and turbulent chaos. The water feels good. It reminds us that we are human. We are constantly changing, finding and learning ourselves. At the end of the swim, we pull ourselves up into our ship and set our course back to the present. We smile and embrace our lives with love. We have in our hearts compassion, forgiveness and humility. We move forward into a new day spreading Peace, Love and Light.
